Bon Voyage Bummer!

When I won an all-expenses paid luxury yacht experience in the French Riviera, I was over the moon! I imagined myself lounging on the deck under the warm sun ️, cocktail in hand , living the glamorous life of the rich and famous.

I excitedly packed my itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini , sombrero hat , heart-shaped sunglasses ️, and beach towel into my suitcase and jetted off to France. ✈️ Once I arrived at the marina, a handsome steward in a crisp white uniform greeted me with a smile and escorted me down the dock. ‍♂️ As we approached the stunning white yacht ️, I was practically giddy with excitement.

But when we turned the corner, my jaw dropped in dismay. This magnificent vessel was up on stilts on dry land! The steward explained apologetically that the yacht was undergoing routine maintenance and repairs for the day. ️‍♂️

Instead of sipping champagne on the aft deck, I sat in a stuffy office onshore , listening to power tools and watching workers in hard hats scurry about. ️‍♂️ So much for feeling the sea breeze ️ on my face and being rocked gently by the azure waves!
