The Blind Leading the Blind

One day, the king decided to donate to all the visually impaired in the kingdom. He told Santa and Banta to make a list.

Santa made a list and gave it to the king. But Banta looked it over and said "This list is incomplete!"

"How so" asked the puzzled king.

"Give me a day to prove it needs more people!" promised Banta.

The next day, Banta sat in the bazaar weaving a cot ️. Whenever someone asked what he was doing, Banta mumbled to his servant , who wrote on a scroll.

Soon a crowd gathered . Santa pushed through and said "Banta! What are you doing"

Banta kept weaving and mumbling . Finally, he handed the scroll to Santa. "Here is the real list of the blind!"

Santa was shocked to see his own name last! "Why am I on this list" he asked.

"You and all who asked what I was doing must be blind, despite seeing me weave!" Banta explained.

Santa laughed realizing his mistake. He told the king about Banta's clever lesson - those who fail to observe must be counted among the blind!

The king chuckled and praised his jesters for their wisdom in disguise. Their antics always taught valuable lessons!
